Pecan Milk Cooperative was founded in Atlanta in 2014! We manufacture plant milks: Pecan Milk, Oat Milk, Sunflower Milk and Hemp Milk.
Our milks can be sweetened with dates, which actually lowers cholesterol.
Chocolate Milks are made with organic fair trade cocoa powder from our friends at Equal Exchange Cooperative. Vanilla Milks are made with powdered organic vanilla beans, instead of alcohol-based extracts. Our Oat Milks are made with real oat groats, water and salt. All of our milks are of higher quality because they use simple high quality ingredients.
In Autumn 2016. Pecan Milk Co-op rented a shared commercial kitchen. The East Atlanta Village farmer’s market manager allowed the co-op to jump into the market season far after the deadline to accept new vendors.

Friends that helped with all of these farmer’s markets were the first members of the the worker cooperative.
In April 2018, the Pecan Milk Co-op initiated a relationship with Sevananda Natural Foods Market Cooperative., the largest health food cooperative in the Southeast.

Now, we make milk in Southwest Georgia, Decatur, Georgia and Chattanooga, Tennessee.
We may have the highest percentage of plants per milk in the industry and be the first and only to be licensed to add CBD as an ingredient.
We’re a democratic workplace and a Black-owned business that makes plant-based non-dairy milk. The plant milks we make are healthier and more delicious because we use lots of real plants instead of added vitamins and emulsifying additives. Indeed, they are delicious.
